In celebration of Black History Month, there has been a call to the viz community to raise awareness on various subjects connected to black history. This week the challenge is 'education, color, and words'. My visualization aims to use simple and bold color along with quotes from the Department of Education to raise awareness around Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs): what they are, where they are, and how to learn more!
